About
I recently graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Communication from the University of Oregon. After investing four years of my life toward a better understanding of Public Relations, advertisement, and traditional journalistic fundamentals, I am leaving my time at university with a solid skillset and knowledge of how to thrive in those fields. Aside from my primary studies, I also earned two minor degrees in Anthropology and LatinX studies.
I also delegated some time to study political science and international economics while abroad in London, where I studied under Dr. Andrew Whitehead, the former editor of BBC World Service News.
However, when studying back in Oregon, I dedicated much of my free time to competing under my university's nationally competitive mock trial team. My involvement with the American Mock Trial Association (AMTA) took over my late college nights when my traditional schoolwork didn't. I've had the pleasure of competing with top schools such as UC Berkeley and the University of Washington in a simulated courtroom setting. I spent my college weekends arguing case law and presenting closing arguments to a jury (albeit fictional).
Currently, I work as a freelance photographer based out of Eugene, OR, and I wish to utilize my creative expertise to find my passion in the workforce.

While studying in London, my classmates and I argued on current political topics centered around international conflicts like the Brexit movement. I also gained an intricate understanding of economic politics throughout the United Kingdom and the European Union from the speakers involved. I've gained a more holistic worldview from this experience.
